What is the theory behind this Anger Map Worksheet?
Anger mapping refers to different indications of anger such, as triggers, and physical sensations while experiencing anger as well as thoughts and behavioral patterns that accompany anger. Just like, a map helps us navigate any territories, an anger map can help us navigate our anger response.
How will the worksheet help?
Making an anger map is an innovative and interactive way for kids to learn about anger. Through this worksheet, kids will be able to develop an insight into anger and ways to deal with it in a healthy way; they will be able to describe and understand their emotional experiences.
How to use the worksheet?
The worksheet can be used in sessions with kids. Initially, they have to draw what an angry face looks like. Then they would be asked to identify what triggers them and where they can feel anger. Lastly, they will be required to read through a breathing exercise to deal with anger.
