What is the theory behind this anxiety strategies worksheet? 

It’s common to occasionally feel anxious, but individuals with anxiety disorders frequently and excessively feel fear and panic in typical settings. If these emotions interfere with your ability to operate regularly and lower your quality of life, they are unhealthy. For anxiety and stress-related problems, relaxation techniques, Exposure therapy and CBT is a successful treatment. Targeting unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that have been found to cause and increase anxiety requires the use of particular strategies. 

How will the worksheet help?

This worksheet will help clients in the management of their anxiety symptoms. It consists of simple CBT and relaxation techniques that will be useful for clients to understand their symptoms of anxiety, what are the triggers and how the anxiety can be managed.  

How to use the worksheet?  

This worksheet can be given to clients during therapy sessions, with instructions to continue it at home.  The worksheet consists of simple techniques which the client can use to manage anxiety.
