What is the theory behind this Autism and friendship worksheet?

People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have significant difficulty in socializing, making and keeping friendships. Individuals with this developmental disorder have problems in processing social information and dealing with conflicts. They cannot understand unspoken social rules and appear as awkward individuals. Proper social training has proved to be beneficial for such individuals.  

How will the worksheet help?   

 This worksheet will help Autistic clients to assess which behavior is socially appropriate while which one is not. It will also help the therapist find out regarding the client’s level of social understanding. 

How to use this worksheet?

To use this worksheet, circle the appropriate behaviors you can and should do with your friends with a pen/pencil of red color while the inappropriate behaviors with the green color from below.
