What is the theory behind this worksheet?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping, also known as tapping or psychological acupressure, is an alternative approach for addressing both physical pain and emotional distress. 

This method involves tapping on specific points of the body, to bring balance to the body’s energy system and alleviate pain. Developed by Gary Craig, EFT posits that disruptions in energy flow are at the root of negative emotions and pain. 

EFT tapping has been utilized in the treatment of anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
