What is the theory behind the Emetophobia CBT worksheet?

Cognitive restructuring worksheets can help one to identify difficult thoughts, and patterns, gain insight into one’s automatic thoughts, and develop better strategies linked to particular fears and phobias.

This is based on the fundamental premise of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which says that our thoughts and behaviors are intimately linked, changing one can impact another. This has been practiced in real-world settings to improve the fear of vomiting.
