The worksheet guides individuals through a process of self-reflection: recognizing stimuli that make people feel sad, angry, or frustrated, and rational evaluations that help differentiate between irrational beliefs and realistic ones.

Describing not only the thoughts that arise in response to such a signal but also recording the behavioral response to these emotions, disputing unfair thoughts, and constructing useful strategies for the next time with improved behavior.

This is a form of treatment that substantively focuses on structured psychological technique that has its origin in the cognitive behavioural theory to effect change by increasing self awareness while adopting positive methods that contribute to the general mental health of the patient.
