What is the theory behind this worksheet?

The theory behind this worksheet is Adlerian Theory. Adler believes that there should be a holistic approach to understanding a client’s childhood and that includes the development of sexuality. However, far from the degree of what Freud has set in his theory of psychology, Adler focused more on the possible inferiority this development might cause.

How will this worksheet help?

This worksheet can be used by the counselor and let the client fill it out. The information gathered from this worksheet will give the counselor the perspective of how the client was during his/her sexuality development.

How to use the worksheet?

This worksheet requires the client to answer and fill out the second column as a response to questions in the first column asking for information about his/her sexuality. All the questions in the first part will be filled out from the client’s perspective he/she had as a child. The second part is from the present perspective of the client.
