What is the theory behind this worksheet?

Positive self-talk is an internal dialogue that makes a person feel good about themselves. The underlying theories include “Self-efficacy” and “Cognitive behavioral therapies”. Therapies may include:

  • CBT – helps to identify and challenge the negative thoughts to promote positive changes. 
  • Mindfulnesssays to be present in the moment without judgment, when it integrates into a positive self it encourages individuals to be aware of and appreciate the positive aspects of life.
