The budget chart below contains a non-exhaustive list of items usually purchased by families on a monthly basis. These items exclude basic needs (food, shelter, clothing etc). Help your client figure out what items they consider as their needs and wants? They can calculate their monthly cost and subtract it from the total budget to get the idea of where they spent money. Feel free to add to the list.
