What is the theory behind this worksheet?

“Act with Love” is an approach to therapy with basis in principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a type of cognitive-behavioural therapy that  assists people in become more adaptable through accepting the life challenges and engaging in actions are consistent with their values.

How will this worksheet help?

The worksheet typically contains activities that assist people to pick out the behaviours that are congruent with their values. This exercise assists clients in identifying and managing unhealthy cognitions and feelings that can can cause disruption of functioning in interpersonal relations. 

How to use this worksheet?

In this worksheet therapists can ask clients to provide rating of the statements provided below from 1-5 in this way they will know where their relationship and affection for their partner stands. 

This is what the rating means:

1= Not at all true

5= Completely True
