What is the theory behind this Anger Chart Worksheet?

Anger is an intense emotional state in which an individual can feel irritated up till outrage. It is acceptable and healthy to feel anger, which is a natural emotion. However, many people struggle with the inability to resist stressors that enrage them to the point of acting on them. People who are unable to control this emotion may engage in harmful behaviors that may eventually lead to anxiety and other mental problems that can be managed by a collaborative approach of cognitive behavior therapy along with anger management and mindfulness.

How will this worksheet help?

This worksheet gives an insight into how their anger starts and how they handle the circumstance afterward. This also helps the client to understand their triggers, and outcomes of situations that make them angry.  

 How to use the worksheet?  

You can initiate the first step of identifying triggers of your anger and determining constructive ways to let your anger out.  By identifying triggers you can add situations, things, or any circumstances that elevate your anger and mention how you would express it.
