What is the theory behind this Anger management therapy worksheet?

Anger management is a kind of psychotherapy for managing and controlling anger related behavior and preventing disproportion of it. Studies have shown a significant success rate of this therapeutic program on anger related problems.  It deals with frustration and other deep buried feelings that result from anger.

How will the worksheet help?  

This worksheet will help the clients in noticing all the cues and signals that are associated with their anger. Insight into the signals will help them manage the anger before it appears.  

How to use this worksheet?

To use this worksheet, notice the times you get angry. Focus on all the body sensations, the thoughts you have, the underlying feelings and emotions and how you behave. Write down all those responses in the given space under designated titles.
