What is the theory behind this Angry Thoughts Worksheet?

Theories suggest there is a strong connection between thoughts and behavior and they operated hand in hand.  It has been observed that kids who suffer from emotional issues are incongruent and are unaware of their automatic thoughts triggering thoughts. The first in recovery is to make them more aware of their triggering thoughts. The worksheet has been designed to fulfill the first goal of creating insight in kids by using art and expression.

The worksheet will create an insight into kids. It will help them assess their triggering thoughts. Analyzing one’s triggers it will help them prevent their aggressive reaction to situations. It will help them interact in a healthy way by controlling anger outbursts. 

How to use the worksheet?

First, ask kids to draw themselves in an angry state they can use pencil colors and markers in this step. Later ask them to write angry thoughts in each red circle. And lastly, write down below how they react to these thoughts.
