Body Image Therapy deals with issues related to perceptions and attitudes that people hold towards their own bodies. Having a negative body image can lead to many emotional issues such as low self-esteem and confidence which in turn affects how one interacts with others and deals with day to day activities. Cognitive Behavioural therapy identifies and addresses an individual’s faulty thought processes regarding their body image.
