CBT worksheet for low self-esteem
What is the theory behind this CBT worksheet for low self-esteem?
CBT therapy helps individuals with low self-esteem, figuring out patterns of thinking, behavior and feelings they have that make them feel unpleasant about themselves. The therapist helps them in identifying alternative strategies through various techniques to replace the negative pattern with positive ones. Before applying any technique, the therapist assesses the level of self-esteem through different assessment procedures. These procedures also help the therapist in finding out the cognitive distortions an individual has.
