Research provides evidence that substance use disorder often occurs in comorbidity. Certain times clinicians skip ruling out another disorder and only work on dealing with addiction. This creates hindrances in progress. In order to deal better it is required for clinicians to rule out of there is another disorder in comorbidity or not.

How to use the worksheet?
The worksheet is for use by clinicians. Initially, they will categorize the symptoms into two septate categories of substance use disorders and comorbid disorders. Then they have to assess the frequency intensity and duration. Lastly by using DSM and checking criteria clinician has to report a final diagnosis of both categories.
