What is the theory behind this EFT Cycle Worksheet?
Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) focuses on an individual’s emotions and their connection with behavior. This explains a cycle of improvement in which a person is becoming more aware of their emotions and to be mindful of his or her emotion that they don’t acknowledge. It creates awareness of primary emotion which is not being acknowledged by so many people and enhances the emotional well-being of the client. The eft cycle help client regulates and validate their emotions and create emotional insight.
How will the worksheet help?
This worksheet will give the client a better understanding and insight into their own emotion. It will remove misconceptions regarding emotional experience and will create an acceptance of one’s emotions. Further, it will reduce blaming self for experiencing any emotion and create a healthy understanding of one’s behavior

This worksheet can be used during the procedure of therapy. It can be given to the client as homework, or it can be completed during an assessment session. It can help the client explore more bout their emotions. Instruct clients to explain situations and identify their emotions and explain them properly. In the end, help the client generate a positive reaction to the same situation
