What is the theory behind this Goals and Intentions Worksheet?
Intentions are the drives behind our goals. While a goal is a specific target we work to achieve, intentions would be the broader reasoning behind wanting to achieve that goal. So we set specific goals to fulfill our intentions. These intentions are based on our current values, morals and how we consciously wish to live our life.

The worksheet will help individuals to write down their intentions for the year and then set realistic and achievable goals that will help them fulfill those intentions. This exercise will help them set productive goals that align with how they truly wish to live their own life.
How to use the worksheet?
This worksheet can be used in mental health programs that focus on enhancing productivity and purposeful living through goal-setting. It can be used in individual sessions and group sessions. Instruct the individual to write down their intentions for the current year and then write realistic and achievable goals that can help them fulfill those intentions by the end of the year.
