What is the theory behind this Happiness Chemical Worksheet?

Evidence-based studies now suggest that mild levels of depression can be managed by making healthy lifestyle choices that naturally enhance the availability of happy hormones known as neurotransmitters in our bodies. Over the years, our lives have become mechanical and distant from happiness-boosting activities, which has contributed to an increase in the prevalence of depression. It has been found that increasing the frequency of happiness-boosting activities (Such as spending time in nature, exercising, and connecting with our loved ones) can have a positive impact on our mood.

How will the worksheet help?

To promote happiness among individuals, this chemical worksheet has been designed by using rating scales, clinical interviewing, and activity schedules in order to provide more knowledge about naturally increasing happiness hormones i.e. serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins in the body.

How to use the worksheet?
