Lying therapy worksheet

What is the theory behind this Lying therapy worksheet?

Teenagers lie for many reasons. Either they want to be a part of a preferred social group or they do not want to be punished by adults for performing an unacceptable task. Most of the time they are unaware of their actions due to lack of insight. This can become a problem when their relations start to accuse them of being dishonest leading to interpersonal conflicts and mental distress.

How will the worksheet help?

This worksheet will help teenagers in distinguishing between lie and truth. They will be able to challenge their own actions on the basis of this information. They can also reflect on their social desires and motivations, as well as their triggers
