What is the theory behind this Resentment therapy worksheet?

Resentment is defined as a discomforting and anger-based experience. Resentment is caused due to the feeling of having been treated unfairly, hurtfully. It consists of feelings of guilt, shame and frustration. Resentment itself is not a psychological disorder, but it can be a cause of many disorders. Psychotherapy helps in self-compassion and other methods to let go of resentment. 

How will the worksheet help?   

This worksheet will help clients who have deep buried resentments to fully express their feelings. This can aid in letting go of such emotions that are causing them mental health distress.

How to use this worksheet?

To use this worksheet, write all your resentments on the paper plane each. Fill it with all your thoughts and feelings regarding the issue. Then, cut the paper planes out and fly them out of your window or into the trash.
