What is the theory behind this self CBT therapy worksheet?

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a well-known therapeutic strategy that has been used to treat a wide range of issues.The therapy was developed by Aron Beck. The goal of cognitive behavioural therapy, a sort of talking therapy, is to alter how we think and act to better assist us deal with and manage challenges in our life. It is predicated on the notion that our ideas, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected and have an impact on one another.

How will the worksheet help?

The clients learn CBT strategies through books or information technology as part of self-help. This worksheet helps clients in identifying their thoughts and emotions that are leading toward maladaptive behaviour. This worksheet also provides information to the therapist about the client symptoms and changes in the symptoms.    

How to use the worksheet?

The therapist provides this worksheet to the client during the session and instructs him/her to continue it as homework. Therapist instructs clients to complete the worksheet on a daily basis.
