Strategic family therapy is a type of family therapy that seeks to identify and alter the structural interaction patterns that form the family environment. It deals with the way family members interact and behave with each other. According to strategic family therapy, the issues children face are the consequence of unhealthy behavior patterns in the family system

How will the worksheet help?    

This worksheet will provide insight to the family members about their designated roles and how roles can be switched due to flexibility. They will also learn about different maladaptive behavior patterns that persist with the assigned family roles.

How to use this worksheet?

To use this worksheet, mention the usual meal seating arrangement of your family members by writing their names on the empty cubes. Then with mutual agreement, change the arrangement and write the new one on the second diagram. A week later, answer the self-reflective questions.
