What is the theory behind this Thank you worksheet?

We normally express thank you when we owe someone something, when we’ve benefited from their acts, or when we just want to express our gratitude feelings. According to research, being grateful improves your mental and physical health, reduces stress, expands your social circle, and helps to boost your self-esteem. Positive psychology therapy shows a positive relationship between gratitude and well being.  

How will the worksheet help?

Writing a thank you note gives you the opportunity to express your gratitude to the recipient for thinking of you. This worksheet will provide awareness to the client about the importance of thank you and make them able to write a thank you note. 

How to use the worksheet?

The therapist can provide this worksheet to the client during the session or it can also be given to a client as homework.
