Therapy worksheet for two year olds

What is the theory behind this Therapy worksheet for 2 year olds?

Therapy for toddlers includes helping the child become aware of their thoughts and feelings. It also aids in their sensory-motor movements through various activities. Parental counseling is also provided to the caregivers for better emotional and physical nurturance of the toddler.

How will the worksheet help?

This worksheet will help the toddler client in practicing matching, color and shape identification. It also helps the therapist in assessing which of these areas of the toddler needs improvement. Those areas can then be improved and enhanced. It can be used by caregivers for helping their kids learn.

How to use this worksheet?

To use this worksheet, the facilitator is required to show the shapes on the left to the younger client and ask them to point which shapes on the right look similar to the former. Giving positive feedback or a small reward (e.g. a small stationery item) will help in motivating the child to whom the worksheet would be given.
