What is the theory behind this worksheet?

Toxic masculinity refers to the collection of cultural norms and societal expectations associated with conventional male conduct, leading to adverse effects on both men and the broader community.

It encompasses a restrictive and detrimental perception of masculinity that esteems traits like dominance, aggression, the suppression of emotions, and the disapproval of characteristics traditionally linked with femininity.

Drawing from more than 40 years of research, the American Psychological Association (APA) formulated new guidelines for psychological approaches specifically targeting boys and men.

The guidelines highlight the harm of conditioning boys to repress their emotions, affecting both their well-being and relationships.
