What is the theory behind the Wellness Toolbox Worksheet?
Wellness is a broad term that encompasses all aspects of one’s mental and physical health. It is used to indicate a person’s current level of mental and physical well-being. Wellness tools refer to all the activities that one knows can improve their overall well-being whenever they feel low. Having a list in hand can help one perform those activities whenever they feel the need to destress.
How will the worksheet help?
This worksheet will help clients create their own ‘Wellness toolbox’, where they can list down all the activities that help improve their mood and bring their spirits up when they feel low. This will help them have a handy list from which they can incorporate those activities in their daily routine to destress when needed.
How to use the worksheet?
Instruct the client to think of activities that lift their mood and list them down to make their own wellness toolbox. Instruct them to place it in a place where it is easily visible for them throughout the day as a reminder to incorporate those activities in their day to day life. Also instruct them to leave some spaces blank for any new additions.
