Identify your thoughts: Write down the thoughts that went through your mind when you were feeling the emotions. Try to be specific and concrete about what you were thinking.

Evaluate your thoughts: Take a step back and reflect on the thoughts you wrote down. Ask yourself if they are accurate and helpful. If not, try to reframe them in a more positive or realistic light.

Identify coping strategies: Write down several strategies you can use to manage the emotions you are feeling. These can be things like taking deep breaths, going for a walk, or engaging in a relaxing activity.
