What are the theories behind this worksheet?

The theories underlying this worksheet are based on Leah Kuypers’ “Zones of Regulation,” an approach designed to help people understand and manage their feelings and sensory requirements. 

The Zones model divides emotions and their accompanying actions into four separate zones: blue (low energy), green (ideal state), yellow (caution), and red (high energy). .
