What is the theory behind this ACT Matrix worksheet?

The Matrix is essentially a map that can guide an individual’about the internal and external experiences that can move them towards or away from what they consider the most important.
How will the worksheet help?
The worksheet will provide the ACT matrix that individuals can use to visualise and understand the behaviours that move them towards or away from what matters to them or their personal values. It is important to understand this in order to move towards compassionate acceptance of one’s struggles, develop psychological flexibility and become more mindful of our thoughts and actions.
