Alcohol therapy worksheet

What is the theory behind this Alcohol therapy worksheet?

The trauma of loss is one of the most powerful phenomena that leads to emotional disturbances. It can turn an individual’s life in a whole new direction. The reminder and memories of a loss leads to negative emotions, that individuals tend to cope with maladaptive strategies. Alcohol consumption is also one of those coping methods that diminishes the effect of loss for a short period of time. The person has to repeatedly consume alcohol in order to maintain that effect thus, leading to addiction.
