What is the theory behind this CBT Time Management Worksheet?

Time Management is an essential skill that can greatly improve daily functioning for people struggling with mental health issues. Effectively listing down and distributing achievable tasks for the day can not only help get work done but also keep an individual motivated to achieve those tasks. It can also be particularly helpful for people struggling with ADHD, procrastination and anxiety.  

How will the worksheet help?

This worksheet will help clients manage their tasks effectively on a daily basis. It will help them set achievable goals for the day by distributing important tasks that need to be done throughout the day.  It will also prompt them to list down what they need to complete the tasks so that they are prepared. 

How to use the worksheet?

Instruct the client to use the worksheet at the start of the day to distribute important tasks that need to be completed within that day. They should allot appropriate time slots for task completion and also list down what they might need to prepare themselves for completing the said task.
