Dream Interpretation Worksheet (PDF)

What is the theory behind this Dream Interpretation Worksheet PDF?

Dream interpretation is widely used in many types of psychotherapies but mostly so in psychoanalytic theory, which is heavily influenced by Sigmund Freud’s beliefs regarding the crucial role of the unconscious in one’s conscious actions. Dreams are seen as symbolic of one’s inner struggles and thoughts to reveal profound insights into the inner workings of one’s mind. Freud regarded dreams as the royal road to the unconscious. It is truly the state where our defense mechanisms and inhibitions take the backseat.
