What is the theory behind this Moral and values worksheet?
When people live in any society or a group of people they form a certain set of rules and regulations and moral values come under its subcategory. Moral values are forms to maintain peace in society and promote a healthy environment. Human development occurs in different parts among them the development of the superego is one of the most basic and important parts. The development of the superego gives us an understanding of social norms and values. Human beings should work on the development of their moral values to live peacefully in society.
How will the worksheet help?
The worksheet will help the client identify social norms and moral values. It will create a sense of right and wrong also they can analyze themselves if they lack it or have an adequate moral values. If clients lack then through this worksheet they can identify and work on lacking areas and make themselves more healthy in social and interpersonal ways.
How to use the worksheet?
This worksheet is helpful for the client to identify their values and society’s morals that are creating problems. First, tell the client difference between morals and values. Values can be defined as an individual’s accepted standards of right or wrong. Morals are standards of right and wrong explained by society. Now instruct the client to identify their ideal and occupied values and later ask them to right morals followed by family and their friend and other society. This creates awareness of conflicting places and later helps the client set healthy boundaries and identify the areas where they should work in their life.
