Schizophrenia Coping Skills Worksheet

What is the theory behind this schizophrenia coping skills worksheet?

Schizophrenia is defined as a mental disorder that makes it difficult to distinguish between what is real and unreal, has disorganised thinking and uncontrollable emotions, and makes it difficult to relate to others and function normally. Early signs of schizophrenia include being strange, uninterested, unemotional, and socially awkward. It begins with isolating themselves, ignoring their appearance, saying odd things, and displaying a general lack of interest in life. Moreover, the term “coping” refers to the conscious and unconscious psychic mechanisms that people use to effectively deal with stress.
