What is the theory behind the Schizophrenia Worksheet?

Schizophrenia is a psychotic mental illness characterised by  serious disturbances in one’s ability to perceive reality leading to disorders thinking, emotional responses and maladaptive behaviours that cause significant loss of daily function. Some key features of this disorder are frequent delusions, hallucinations and very odd emotional and behavioural responses. Since the intensity of the symptoms varies over time it can be helpful for individuals with schizophrenia to keep track of their warning signs.

How will the worksheet help?

This worksheet will allow clients seeking help for their schizophrenia diagnosis to be aware of and identify the warning signs that indicate an oncoming episode.
